Paper and Stuff
RiverDog Prints uses paper purchased from The Paper Mill Store, a company committed to being as green as possible. They use 100% Green-e certified Wind Power. RiverDog Prints uses FSC Certified paper for most of our cards. Here's a quote about that from The Paper Mill Store's site: "When purchasing FSC certified paper and envelopes from us you can be certain that the fiber used to manufacture certified paper and envelopes came from well managed forests where people, wildlife and the environment benefit from the forestry practices." Most of the fonts we use come from our favorite font designers at Chank.com. They have Cool Fonts, Free Fonts and you can even Go Font Yourself! and have your own handwriting turned into a font. Check out the site by clicking the link above.
For our packaging, we use as much post-consumer recycled products as possible.
Each card and lined envelope is made by hand and not by machine (except for printing). There may be some variance between each card. We use Epson inks for printing, which produce archival quality and resist fading, so your cards will be preserved for a very long time.
